The Almighty NSS

What's upppppppp y'all! Welcome back to my blog! πŸ˜„. It's actually nice to hear YouTubers do this intro to their channels but I don't think I could ever create a channel. I'm super lazy, big ups to every YouTuber out there. But the interesting thing is I can write even when I'm feeling lazy. Now how fun is that, ha!

After my recent post I put up at a sitting, I know πŸ™„ about several weeks ago 😹, I was encouraged to write often and longer. I really don't know about often but I'll try longer. (Shouts to Gerald, my Tampico ambassador 😹)

Anyway! Even though my last semester results aren't out guess what decided to come out after months of waiting, NATIONAL SERVICE POSTINGS!!!!!!! If you just completed university and have been posted, do well to share where you live and where you've been posted to in the comment section 🀭

You guys! You won't believe where I was posted to. But even before that, before registration started for NSS I sent my CV to one renowned institution in order to pursue my service to the nation. That being my first time ever sending my CV out for a job I was nervous.

I put the CV together sent it to a couple of friends to check it out for me before sending it few hours before the deadline, as it won't be accepted even seconds after.

Weeks passed and this institution sent me an email and some PDF to read and prepare for a zoom interview. The day came and I was ready for the interview but my network wasn't (Vodafone🀦🏽‍♀️) so we had to do the interview through a phone call.

I did the interview and waited for their email to know if I got the chance to do my service there or not. Bring your ears *whispers* it ended in tears πŸ˜†

As I wasn't given the opportunity I had to start looking elsewhere because I didn't want the National Service Scheme to post me somewhere I couldn't find on Google maps.

I called my cousin who works in a bank to help me get a spot for my service. Boy did it take long before they finally took my details all in the name of they weren't sure the National Service was going to take place this year πŸ™„.

A couple of friends kept asking me whether the postings were in and it had kept longer than usual.

On the 31st of August, 2020, THE ALMIGHTY NATIONAL SERVICE POSTINGS were released and guess where I posted to ? Did you say the bank ? 🀣 .Oh my goodness! No! They bounced me! Saying they had a protocol list for 25 persons only and I didn't make the cut. I was posted to Ejura Sekyedumase, Ges office - Ashanti Region

Yhup! I know I know, I haven't heard it before either but if you've share it with me in the comments.

I'm guessing  you're wondering how I got posted there in the first place. Well, I chose the Ashanti Region as my first region, Eastern then Greater Accra because I was thinking oh, if they see I don't have interest in getting posted to Accra they might post me in Accra and even more so I wanted to leave Accraaaaaaaaaa, I wanted to have a feel of Kumasi but I was ignorant, I thought Kumasi was the only town in Ashanti Region πŸ˜ͺ

Funny enough, I selected the regions while using the washroom as I'm writing this  part there now 😌. Well I guess the ideas flow better while I'm here no? Lol

There you've it! This is what the ALMIGHTY NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME did to me and until they repost me I guess I've to start packing for Ejura Sekyedumase πŸ˜…

Here I come!
