What I've Learned About Life So Far

Hello loveys! It's been a week since I posted my 2nd blogpost on my phobia and i appreciate the comments to helping me overcome it soonπŸ™πŸ½ . Don't let me bore you too much with this and let's get into today's post about what I've learned so far in my 2️⃣◻️years on Earth! (Can you guess my age?) 😊
1. STAY POSITIVE
I chose this point to be my first because in everything you do you must begin by thinking or staying positive! The most important thing I've learned is to be positive at all times -even when there's an  ounce of negativity somewhere - Attach and follow the things that make me happy, smile, better or productive. Therefore, hold on to those things especially when I'm going through some difficult times.
2. YOU CAN'T PLEASE EVERYONE
As the saying goes "if you try to please everyone, you'll end up pleasing no one." I believe that not everyone is going to like you , it's literally impossible for everyone to or have the same views as you or do things the same way. The people you attract are those who will support you in every way that they can. Do you!
3. APPRECIATE THOSE WHO LOVE AND CARE FOR YOU
Be it a friendship, romantic relationship, family relationship. Don't take love for granted and make sure you reciprocate the love and care people show me. Also, nurture all relationships properly and put in a lot of effort.
4. TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR BODY
Make sure you try as much as possible to get enough sleep (8 hours is overrated) Also, drink lots of water - 8 glasses of water everyday - ( the furthest I can go is 1 ½ 😬) , exercise when you can - of which I can't πŸ˜‚) , eat properly ; a balanced meal or at the appropriate time. "Your body is the temple of God" πŸ™‡
5. GET RID OF ANXIETY
Let go of things that create some form of anxiety and try not to over think things that'll stress you out. The more you think about them the more they manifest. So change the things you can and let go of the others.
6. TAKE RISKS !
When society puts pressure on you to do certain things, you've to stand your ground. I took a bold step last year by cutting my hair which was damaged because I wasn't getting so much time for it. Just a few people advised I go ahead with my plan and the lot, criticized me for how I'll look ugly with short hair but I turned deaf ears and took that risk by doing me! (Cutting my hair) because you can't please everyone.
7. PARENTS
Your parents completely go out of their way to do whatever they can do to make me comfortable or happy. Growing up as the only child ( it's boring, trust me) they made sure I had everything. This made me independent and undemanding. I love them very much even though they're not together anymore - story for another day - because they continue to support me in my education and my life.
8. SOCIAL MEDIA
It's an idealized part of life people put out either on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and many others. Just so you know, everything on there isn't real - the best part of my life doesn't get to social media - I keep it private as much as I can. Social Media shouldn't be so much of importance to you ; there are others things that are way more important. Keep it to sharing your views, ideas and thoughts. Don't wish for the life people have on there. You don't really know people off social media, they let you see what they want you to see - Anonymous
9. TAKE EACH DAY AS IT COMES
I often used to think of what I will eat, wear or do tomorrow which unknowingly puts pressure on myself but now I take things "petit Γ  petit"  in order to reduce the pressure that comes with my responsibilities. You might have to put more effort in your smaller goals than your bigger goals.
10. BE A BETTER YOU
Don't live your life living someone else's. What will work for you won't work for others, so just pick those that can work and add onto your life. Focus on you. Be You!
So there you've it! Ten things I've learned about life. I hope you enjoyed every bit of this post. You can pick any of the lessons and see if it works for you. Don't forget to let me know in the comment section if it does or doesn't. Remember to live life to the fullest.
With love,
Sincerely Naa.
